About Me
Dr. Joe performs on an electronic keyboard, utilizing a grand piano setting, accompanied by iPad-based tracks. My style is not focused on self-promotion or vocal performance; rather, I offer instrumental renditions of standards from the Great American Songbook at a carefully managed volume that allows patrons to comfortably enjoy their meals and conversation. While my approach is less suited to lively sports bar environments, it has proven highly effective in wine bars such as Uncorked (Hermosa Beach, CA) and MB Wine (Manhattan Beach, CA) and is well recieved in restaurant settings. My approach also creates a warm musical atmosphere for private parties, fundraisers (Haven Academy of the Arts), and small corporate gatherings.
